Using the forum. By registering on this forum, you agree to use it properly, and to refrain from posting any content that is aggressive, offensive, defamatory, hateful, or in violation of applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to post messages inciting or evoking illegal practices, or violating the terms of use of the service.

The moderators and administrators of this forum will do their best to delete or edit any reprehensible messages that may be posted on the forum. You acknowledge that all messages posted on this forum express the opinion of their respective authors, and do not necessarily reflect the position of the moderators and administrators.

In order to ensure the moderation of this forum, any message violating the preceding provisions may be edited or deleted without notice by the moderators and administrators of the forum. Any abuse may also be sanctioned by banning or deleting the user account. We reserve the right to inform your access provider and/or the judicial authorities of any malicious behaviour.

FORUM RULES AND GUIDELINES Membership of the Colliemania forum is totally free. You do not have to be an exhibitor, or even own one of our beautiful breeds - you just need to be as enthusiastic about them as we are!! We like to treat our members as adults, and therefore respectfully ask that you abide by the rules and guidelines detailed below. From time to time there may be changes to these, but the changes will not be made without consultation with the members. Any updates will be posted in the Forum News topic for all members to read. We want all users to enjoy their experience on here, so the Administrators and Moderators will try their best to ensure that this happens. This forum has been built with you in mind, and during its infancy, we welcome suggestions from you so that we can provide the best service for you, and improve the forum for your continued enjoyment. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RULES You must be at least 14 years of age to register on, and use this forum. Any user found to be in breach of this will be removed immediately. The forum administrators and moderators will make every attempt to keep this forum free of objectionable material, openly sexual content, foul language, unauthorised photographs, puppy adverts, and anything that is considered to be detrimental to the forum and its members. Threats, harassment, and 'slagging off' of any member (including administrators and moderators) and/or any non-member (such as a show judge) will result in the topic being locked, and the offending user dealt with under the discipline section shown later. The advertising of products and services must be approved by the Administrators or Moderators before posting. The advertising of puppies for sale is not allowed on this forum. Any such advertisement will be removed, along with all posts associated with it. The Administrators and moderators reserve the right to edit, move, delete, close or lock any post or topic for any reason. Unlike many forums, the reason for the action will be posted in the appropriate place. Banning members is distasteful, and can be avoided by members behaving respectfully towards each other. However, there has to be some procedure in place to deal with misdemeanours, and this is shown below. A minor breach of the rules will result in the offending member receiving a private message with details of the offence, and a warning as to their future conduct on the forum. A first more serious breach will result in the member being suspended from the forum for seven days, again with a private message as to the reason for it. This will NOT be published on the forum. A second more serious breach will result in the member being suspended for one Calendar month, with a private message to the offending member, and the administrators reserve the right to post their username, offence, and reason for suspension in the Forum News topic if the breach is considered serious enough. A third more serious breach will be treated as for the second one, but this time the suspension will be for three Calendar months, and the suspension notice will definitely be posted in the Forum News topic. A fourth more serious breach will result in the member being permanently excluded from the forum, and this will be posted in the Forum News topic. GUIDELINES Please try to be respectful to all members of this forum, whether they are an Administrator, Moderator or Member. We will work very hard to treat everything on its merit, but the Administrators and Moderators decision on any matter is final and not negotiable. If any member has an issue with any other member, then we ask that a private message is sent to the Administrators or Moderators, and we will address the issue. The use of a nickname or alias as a username is allowed, providing the name used is not considered offensive, and we ask that you include at least your Christian name somewhere in your registration details. Any Avatar used must be no more than 100 x 100 Pixels, and must not be likely to cause any offence. Avatars greater than these dimensions will not upload. We encourage discussion on any number of topics, but please state any opinion respectfully, and respect other poster's opinions. Deliberate name calling, rude remarks, insults, or personal attacks on anyone - whether a forum member or not - will be treated as a serious offence by the Administrators, and will be dealt with accordingly. The use of the forum to distribute Spam material is not allowed. Consistent use of Capital Letters in entering posts is known as 'shouting' in Forum circles, and is considered disrespectful. Please avoid this. The use if a one word post - for example "agreed", "LOL", or anything used to increase post numbers to increase you ranking is frowned upon. Links to a personal website are allowed in your personal signature and/or your details, but these links will be checked for appropriateness. Links to Commercial websites are not encouraged, but may be allowed under certain circumstances. Members posting photographs must have permission to post them, or be the owner of the photographs themselves. All photographs posted must be no more than 512 x 512 pixels, to avoid excessive use of website space. Photographs larger than this will be deleted, and the post annotated with the reason.
